As a child I felt all this pressure on me, when I talked to my parents about it they said “Oh you don’t have to be perfect”, days after I got grounded for have 3 missing assignments because I was busy doing other school stuff and my parents ( mostly my mom) said “Why can’t you be like *my friends name*, she always looks good, does what’s she’s told, and everything”, if you don’t want me to be perfect then why compare me to someone who you think is perfect💔

When I first found this video, I had slept on it... probably for a couple years... Now, having watched it? My adult self was transported back to my time in high school as a teen. Though I didn't have a parent like that, I felt alone and just couldn't cry or scream out my frustrations. Your song helped me remember that time.
